In this paper a rotating antenna GB-SAR, that we named RotoSAR, is proposed and tested. The radar head is fixed at a rotating arm and the antennas are aimed in direction orthogonal to the rotation plane. Potential and limits of this configuration is studied, with simulations and in-filed measurements, with particular regard to imagery performance.
