Experimental Simulation of Multi-Static Radar with a Pair of Separated Movable Antennas (1045)

An experimental setup is proposed that can be used to simulate multi-static radar systems. The setup consists of mechanical scanners and a pair of separated movable antennas capable of measuring the phase in a bi-static configuration. The setup can be used to acquire signal samples corresponding to a multi-static electronically switched radar system with specified parameters. It is shown that the setup can be used in a variety of applications.
