Experimental Comparison of Multi-Static and Mono-Static Antenna Arrays for Subsurface Radar Imaging (1046)

The performance of two radar systems for concealed objects imaging is compared using a designed setup consisting of one or two mechanical scanners and one transmit and receive antenna or two separated transmit and receive antennas. The radar systems are different by the type of linear antenna arrays: multi-static or mono-static. Radar images are obtained for both types of antenna arrays relevant to concealed objects imaging and non-destructive testing of materials.
