Microwave Imaging of Moving Subjects by Combined Use of Video-tracker and Multi-static Radar (1097)

This paper presents preliminary experiments illustrating the principle of a new architecture of the microwave screening system capable of obtaining radar images of moving subjects. The system is based on combined use of a video-tracker and a linear antenna array. An arbitrary motion of the the object is used to form inverse synthetic aperture. Coherent processing of the radar signal is possible by obtaining the object trajectory by tracking it in video sequence.
