This paper represents the effective approach to improve the bandwidth and gain of substrate integrated waveguide antenna using novel DMS technique for Ku band applications. Single and multiple Square Loop Slots(SLSs)are inserted in SIW based horn antenna and performance analysis have been carried out. Creation of multiple SLSs not only increases bandwidth it also increase gain upto 8.5dB. Moreover,proposed antennas resonates dual frequencies with more than 500 MHz bandwidth with low sidelobes .
