CMOS technology has emerged during the past 10 years as a low cost high integration candidate for W-band ICs such as imaging and high data-rate systems. Two down converting mixers at 95 GHz were fabricated in CMOS 65nm. The first design is a single balanced NMOS based mixer that reached 8[dB] conversion gain and -8[dB] input matching. In the second design PMOS transistors were used for switching in a folded cascade topology. It reached 7[dB] conversion gain and -9[dB] input matching.
