Real time detection and recognition of micro-poisons in aqueous solutions and atmosphere using perfect absorber metamaterial in millimeter wavelength regime (1163)

We present a new method of detection of OP in aqueous solutions that can provide real-time response by combining advanced spectroscopy methods in millimeter Wavelength (MMW) regime and metamaterial. This method is based on very inexpensive perfect absorber metamaterial, with a high Q factor. The spectral measurements were carried out using high resolution THz spectroscopy system. The planned resonance frequency changes depending on the substance in contact with the perfect absorber.
