In this paper the polarization properties of the indoor radio channel are investigated. By means of a ray tracing tool approach different combinations of polarization of antennas at the transmitter as well as at the receiver end of a communication link are compared with respect to statistics of the channel gain varying due to multipath propagation. Diffuse scattering is taken into account by a single parameter derived from measurements.
