In this study, reflected and refracted fields by an anisotropic metamaterial slab are found. Only diagonal entities of the dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability of the slab are different than zero. The slab is located in free space at –d/2 y d/2 and –∞ x ∞. The incident wave propagates along x and y direction. The polarization of the incident wave is considered both TE and TM. By using dispersion relation, the propagation characteristic is also investigated inside the slab.
