Plasmon Propagation on Lossy Dielectric Split Ring Resonator, DSRR, Chain over quasi-metallic substrates: Investigation and Simulations in Terahertz range (1196)

Magnetic plasmon propagation along a chain of connected Single–Split Ring Resonators (SRR) occurs using metallic cells over a dielectric substrate. This work presents some kind of a “dual” chain, i.e, a dielectric SRR matrix over quasi-metallic substrates such as semiconductor and graphite with realistic resistivity values. This new configuration at micro and nano scale cells presents –as simulation reveals- a “dielectric” plasmon response in the range of tens of Terahertz.
