In this short talk we will try to summarize the present state of the radio or physical interface of a number of different wireless communication systems, with special emphasis on the proposals for 5G. We will try to summarize the directions to be taken in the near future in the radio interface of 5G, satellite communications, deep-space communications and other possible wireless systems. This summary is in addition to the topics to be covered in the earlier talks.
