MICROMECHANICS AND NANOMECHANICS OF FIBROUS COMPOSITES

With the increasing use of nano-reinforcements of various types, and the observations in nature of diversified nanoscale objects, there has been a drive for adaptation of classical microscale mechanical testing towards smaller scale. A succinct partial review of those developments is presented in this lecture.
