ISOSELECTIVE POLYMERIZATION OF RAC-LACIDE WITH HIGHLY ACTIVE ZINC COMPLEXES

Novel zinc alkyl complexes based on sequential tetradentate monoanionic ligands are described. Compared with previously described zinc initiators for lactide polymerization, they possess the most successful combination of high activity, controlled polymerization and isoselectivity.
