Research on the Cross-border Cooperation Mechanism of Public Service of Chinese School Sports Stadiums and Gymnasiums

Background

At present most of Chinese sports stadiums and gymnasiums are mainly concentrated in schools,which caused that the community sports stadiums and gymnasiums is difficult to meet a broad range of fitness needs . Nowadays, residents` fitness demand is growing. Research how to revitalize the Chinese school sports resources has extremely important practical significance for the development of the nationwide fitness campaign.

Methods

The thesis regards the cross-border cooperation mechanism of public service of Chinese school sports stadiums and gymnasiums as the object of research, and uses the following methods comprehensively：literature, expert interview, questionnaire,SWOT analysis.

Results

Strengths:various tapes of sports stadiums, professional sports teachers and fitness instructors, low price of paid-service and good environment.

Weaknesses: utility of the fund source, unreasonable structure, outdate operation model, immature supervision and weak public service.

Opportunities: increasingly demand by fitness, fitness sports consumption concept enhancement, policy support , accelerated industrialization, national fitness, Internet plus impulse.

Threats: security issue, not support by school leaders, maintenance cost of facilities, immaturity of legislation mechanism.

Conclusions

SO strategy: Improve utilization rate of gymnasiums, extend the time of service, make full use of school’s sports talents resources, establish the charge standard , increase the facilities maintenance and updatings.

WO strategy: Increase capital investment,innovate operation mode, improve public service function,strictly implement laws and policies .

ST strategy: Establish the rewards and punishment mechanisms ,establish the funds to security system, multi-departments collaborate .

WT strategy :establish security mechanism, improve the quality of public services.
