Bacground:Low molecular weight heparin(LMWH) is commonly used in the treatment of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA).Recently,we have found that some patients presented liver dysfuntion such as the elevation of transaminase after the use of LMWH for a period of time. Moreover,it seems to be positively relative to the dosage of LMWH and the using time. Therefore,we urgently need to explore the connection between the use of LMWH and the liver dysfuntion so that our patients will get the most proper regimen.

Objective: To observe the effect of LMWH therapy on the liver function of RSA patients with abnormal uterine artery blood flow during pregnancy.

Methods: A total of 60 RSA patients with abnormal uterine artery blood flow during pregnancy admitted in Shengjing Hospital during October 2014 to October 2015 were recruited in the study. According to the different daily use of LMWH(in accordance with heparin sodium)dose, the patients were divided into small dosage group(one piece,20 cases),middle dosage group(two pieces,20 cases),and large dose group(three pieces,20 case). The liver function of three groups after continuous use of LMWH for two weeks and four weeks were recorded and compared. Results: (1)There was no significant difference in the liver function between small and middle dosage group after continuous use of LMWH for two weeks and four weeks(P >0.05). (2)The liver function of large dosage group after continuous use of LMWH for two weeks was significantly different(P < 0.05) .

Conclusion: Administration of large dosage LMWH in the treatment of RSA patients with abnormal uterine artery blood flow during pregnancy will affect the liver function. Therefore, the liver function should be monitored during the clinical application of LMWH.
