Background:

Music notation solutions today are hard to use and master.

Compoze is changing the way we interact with written music by creating music notation based products and services.

Aim:

Compoze is creating the simplest and most effective way to write and share music today by building mobile apps that enable musicians of all levels to write and compose music right on their phone or tablet. We aim to have users share their music with friends and others in the community, discover and purchase each other`s music and enhance their musical skills through interactive tutorials and lessons and to use as an education tool in the classroom.

Method:

Compoze’s core technology is a new and intuitive approach for digitally writing music notations. Using a unique touch screen stroke recognition interface, Compoze mimics the natural way people write their music using pen on music paper only using their fingers or stylus on top of a phone or tablet.

It`s first product- Compoze Leadsheets- is the simplest way to capture your musical idea, write a quick lead sheet and share it to play it with your friends. Leadsheets is targeting Jazz/Pop/Rock students, teachers and artists and was first launched at summer of 2016.
