Is "Lev Tahor" a destructive cult?

The ultra-orthodox group of Lev Tahor is composed by about 300-500 members, and today is located near Santa Rosa in Guatemala. The group was founded by Shlomo Helbrans and 25 years ago he self-styled himself as the Admo`r of the congregation of Riminov. The main component of this group is the total rejection of secular life and verbal incendiaries against the state of Israel.

New severe and stricts behaviors are forced on members of this group: underage marriage, extreme norms of female modesty, forbidding a sort of foods, physical punishment and total obedience to the Leader orders.

This paper based on content analysis of material emerging from the media, the social media, personal testimonials, court rulings etc. In this paper we will discuss if this group can be defined as a destructive cult.
