During the mid twentieth Century, one crucial aspect of political belonging in Chile was coexistence of multiple identities. One group that was able to combine political and ethno-cultural identities was Scholem Aleichem. Composed by Communist Jews, this institution was able to emphazise their Jewish activities while proposing a Jewish element in their communist activities. This paper will develop the link between these two sides of this organizations, recovering its memory from the oblivion of Chilean Jewish history
