Jewish Marriage in Contemporary Russia: A Demographic Analysis

Marital structure of the contemporary Jewish population in the Russian Federation will be studied. Furthermore, the rising incidence of mixed marriages and role of sex imbalance in their spread will be analyzed. To this end, the age-sex structure and marital characteristics of the Jews today in the Russian Federation will be compared with those on the eve of the mass emigration of the 1990s.
