Sixth Century Prophecies in an Akkadian Context - New Suggestions

The paper will deal with various passages in the Prophetic books within the Hebrew bible, and will explore them in the light of Akkadian texts. Special attention will be given to the diachronic implications of those finding on our understanding of the prophetical books and their redaction history.
