Introduction:
Percutaneous balloon mitral Valvuloplasty (BMV) consideras class I indication for patients with pliable mitral stenosis (MS). Our institute involve in this procedure during the last three decades.

Aim:
Reporting the changes and trends of BMV`s characteristics along the last three decades.

Material & Methods:
Patient`s clinical characteristics and echocardiographic data including hemodynamic results before and after procedure were collected for each patient. We present a sample of yearly data collected in a time interval of every 10 years (1994-2014). Categorical variable compared by using chi-square test.

Conclusion:
The rate of BMV declines dramatically through the last 3 decades. Nowadays, Patients referred to BMV became more complex non ideal, followed by low rate of optimal immediate results. The rate of major complication declined over the years.
