חרבות צורים is the title of a broadside issued by R. Jacob Joshua Falk in August of 1755, several months before his death in January of 1756. Exceedingly rare, it was not seen by historians and bibliographers. It was thought to be the title of a lost book or pamphlet, and was misidentified in the 19th and 20th centuries as an anonymous collection of letters in defense of R. Jacob Emden. In fact, it was R. Jacob Joshua Falk`s final salvo in the Emden-Eibeschuetz controversy. R. Jacob Emden`s name is neither mentioned, nor alluded to, in the broadside. One copy has survived and is preserved in a private collection. Courtesy of its owner, we plan to publish the broadside and make it available to the public. The presentation will summarize its content and highlight its significance.
