This paper will offer a little journey in the history of the reception of the multifaced thought of Martin Buber : in France, in Italy and in Sweden. These countries are very good examples of a study of the impact of this philosophy and of one of the iconic first professors of the Hebrew University.

In Europe the translated reception began before the WW 1. In France and in Italy – he spoke perfectly the two languages – they are integrated with a philosophical dialogue and the status of the Jews in this two countries. Sweden is another interesting case study because one of his first disciple, was his friend since his Gymnasium times in Lemberg, Markus Ehrenpreis. The communication is a part of a global inquiry about the echo of Martin Buber.
