The Medieval Hebrew Documents from Arxiu Municipal de Girona and Arxiu Diocesà de Girona

The good knowledge of the different romance dialects by the Jews of de Crown of Aragon (XIV-XV Centuries) affected the official and private Hebrew documents written by rabbis and official soferim as well by particulars. This lecture offers the study of some Hebraic fragments from Arxiu Municipal de Girona (Municipal Archives of Girona) contained in the bindings of numerous notarial registers and some Hebraic fragments from Arxiu Diocesà de Girona (Diocesan Archives of Girona). These fragments are written in judeo-catalan, that is they contain a lot of words and large phrases in catalan aljamiado.
