Old Yiddish Medicine: Bibliographical Aspects

The paper gives an overview of the types of medicinal matters found in Old Yiddish manuscripts and printed books (collections of miscellenaeous medicinal recipes, organized collections on specific topics but also stray medicinal advice in more or less unexpected places) and deals in depth with a few of these as a preparatory work for a detailed commented bibliography.
