Nationally-representative surveys conducted by the Pew Research Center in Israel and the United States in recent years allow for a number of comparisons between Jews living in different social contexts. We can see, for example, that American Jewish women are more religious than American Jewish men by some standard measures, while Israeli Jewish men are more religious than Israeli Jewish women across a wide array of measures. Statistical analysis also shows that in both countries, Jewish subgroup (in the US: Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, no denomination; in Israel: Haredi, Dari, Masorti, Hiloni) is strongly correlated with views on the peace process even when controlling for demographic factors.
