Moshe Narboni’s Commentary on the Treatise on Logic

A manuscript of a 14th-century Jewish philosopher, Moshe Narboni, Perush Millot Higgayon was once edited by Maurice-Ruben Hayoun. However, it leaves the work unfinished, which was inaccurate and perfunctory without philosophical and translational interrelation between Narboni and his predecessors. Furthermore, whereas Shalom Rosenberg casts doubt on the authenticity, the text is quite different from another writing of Narboni, not only misspelling, ambiguous letters and unclear Hebrew in the manuscript but also his terminology. It seems that the terminology in the commentary is influenced from Anatoli`s translation on Averroes` Organon, but not the same as his commentary on Intentions of the philosophers and Averroes` epitome on Organon. From the comparison, I would like to argue the time of the writing and its authenticity.
