Applying integrated electronic data resources to Talmudic study as a gateway to new horizons in Judaic studies research tasks: the integrated database serves as a digital platform integrating comprehensive textual data from the entire Babylonian Talmud and Tannaitic literature with sophisticated integrated search and analysis functions and offers pinpointed access to relevant contemporary scholarship. This leads to previously unavailable opportunities in mapping out the relationships between the various textual witnesses for a passage, immediate finding of relevant research on said passage and the ability to find related passages within the various copra of Talmudic literature. Additional developments allow for the synoptic comparison of the textual witnesses for complete chapters of the Babylonian Talmud with future plans to incorporate automatic stemmatic analysis
