Due to increased interest in organic materials werecarried out studies on polymers compounds of natural fibers that exhibit special mechanical and technological properties, lower-cost compared to those obtained with classical technologies. At the same time, new composites density is much lower. Trough natural fibers have a lower resistance than hard fibers (e.g. carbon fibers), but presents a resistance similar to glass fibers and the main advantage is that of accessibility of their purchase light-being harvested from the zone areas (sustainable).

The paper presents a new eco-composite material with good properties used for obtaining motorcycle helmet models - as a case study, realised at University Transilvania of Brasov.
