The most important organ for love is the brain, not the heart. Research on the neuroscience of love shows that attraction, love and relationships are fueled by actual chemicals.

There are many different hypothesizes of the chemicals who play the main role in falling in love and feeling attracted and passion for someone. The number of chemicals to be blamed for these emotions is getting bigger and bigger, attracting more and more interest in the scientific community.

Indeed, if one searches for “love or passion” in SciFinder, few thousand records are being retrieved, showing an exponential increase in the number of scientific publications over the years.
