Functionalyzed dibenzobarrelene-based PC(sp3)P pincer-like complexes of iridium show remarkable reactivity in dehydrogenation reactions.[1] [2]
Currently, we wish to present synthesis and characterization of a new series of three-dimensional PC(sp3)P pincer complexes of palladium, as well as their ability to promote a variety of catalytic transformations. The new PC(sp3)P –Pd compounds demonstrate high catalytic activity in dehydrogenative coupling of primary amines to imines. The scope and the mechanism of the reaction will be discussed.
