In this workshop we will present clinical examples of the familiality of ADHD, and the common occurrence of ADHD in a mother or father. Research findings will be presented on how ADHD in a child effects the family and how family factors can mitigate or exacerbate the course of children with ADHD, and review findings on the impact of treating parents with stimulant medication and parent training on children and families.
