METAL POWDER AND MANUFATURING SYSTEMS FOR 3D METAL PRINTING

For many years, Tekna is specialized in the design, development and manufacturing of "turn-key" ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) systems for a wide range of material processing, such as powder spheroidization, nano-powder synthesis. The need for spherical powder comes from very different industrial fields, e.g., from powder metallurgy to additive manufacturing applications. For example, additive manufacturing technologies require specific powders to ensure a good quality to the manufactured parts. The critical properties are the powder chemistry, flow ability, packing density, and the absence of porosity. Tekna is able to produce and commercialize high quality powders (Ti64, AlSiMg) for the additive manufacturing industry mainly.
