ECC in Special Needs Dentistry

Special needs community programmes in the Kingdom of Bahrain has brougt to light the significance of ECC in this segment of population.The need of the day in the Island was to to create dental awareness specially focussed on the caretakers.The whole hearted teamwork involved community Screening of children with special needs,scheduling talks and presentations for caretakers, diet counselling,Preventive guidance, oral hygeine measures to be implemented and rendering preventive and restorative care.
