Background: Early child hood Caries formerly known as nursing bottle caries and baby bottle tooth decay remains a significant public health problem. Indian society of Pedodontics and Preventive dentistry encourages health care providers and care givers to implement preventive and restorative practices that can decrease child risk of developing disease.
Methods: Early child hood caries is a severe problem wake up title is justified in poster by depicting firstly definition of early child hood caries, dietary factors specifically cariogenic diet, say no to bottle feeding, caries tetralogy, graph depicting risk factors associated with sugar exposures and acid levels are all depicted in poster.
4 stages of early childhood caries like initial ,deep, damaged and traumatic is shown in poster. Management both preventive strategies like say no to bottle feeding, dietary pyramid, parent counselling, fluoridated tooth pastes, CPP-ACP, pits and fissure sealant, fluoride varnishes are all shown in poster. Restorative therapies like restorative treatment, atraumatic restorative treatment, stainless steel crowns, use of general anesthesia and a behavior management therapy for uncooperative patient are all shown in poster.
