Benign metastasizing leiomyoma(BML) is an ill-defined clinicopathological condition that features histologically benign ‘metastatic’ smooth muscle tumor.BML is a very rare disease that has been reported in association with uterine leiomyoma and about 100 cases have been reported in the literature . The lung is the most common site of involvement. In addition, lesions of the mediastinum, the nervous system, skin, and bone have been reported.

In this poster ,we present a less described location : upper retroperitoneum . The tumour was surprisingly discovered few years after hysterectomy for a large myoma in a 49 years asymptomatic woman who presented for a routine check – up for liver hemangioma .
