Treatment of dental disease by Cannabinoid preparations

It has been shown that THC, CBD and other cannabinoids have many therapeutic effects on human cells.

Cannabinoids bind with receptors of the endo-cannabinoid system. CB1 & CB2 receptors have been found within the human dental pulp system.

We will describe

1. THC/CBD preparations for application to diseased dental conditions for the relief of inflammation, pain relief and bone regeneration.
2. A rapid personalization of cannabinoid- based prevention of dental disease has been developed.

We show very effective anti -bacterial dental plaque activity of cannabinoids, and we provide a customizable tooth care product delivery system for personalized prevention of dental caries. The system comprises an oral microbiome characterization, rapid in vitro testing of cannabinoids sensitivities of disease causing bacteria, rapid compounding of personalized cannabinoid oral care products and mixing chamber for administration by means of regular toothpaste tubes and the like.

The oral care compound cartridge is configured to be operationally connected to an end user toothpaste package, dentifrice package or mouthwash container.The system comprises a rapid detection module for detecting characteristics of a bacterial oral infection an in vitro test module for testing antibacterial activity of a panel of antimicrobial compounds including cannabinoids and an oral care compounding module
