Higher Speed, Higher Accuracy Numerical Simulations of Nano-photonic Systems without Commercial Software

I will describe our new approach for numerical simulations based on GEneralized NOrmal Mode Expansion (GENOME) which provides simulation speed ~100 faster than any alternative commercial software, and show how to implement it on any standard personal computer.
