Thoughts on Promoting Joint Operation of Water Projects of Basin Level in China

As an important means of flood-drought disaster prevention, water resources allocation and water ecological environment protection, water project plays an important role in ensuring flood control safety, water supply safety and ecological security in China. However, there are still some problems that need to be solved in the joint operation of river basin water projects, mainly manifested in the progresses, technical level and management mechanism of each river basin. On the basis of brief analysis of the necessity of joint operation of river basin water projects, this paper puts forward the principle of joint operation of water projects in the basin level, and summarizes the targets and tasks to carry out the joint operation. Finally, the suggestion of integrated operation system is proposed.
