Spatial-temporal Distribution of Different Phosphorus Species in Middle Reach of the Yarlung Zangbo River

This paper studied the distribution of different species of phosphorus in Yarlung Zangbo river and determined the main factors which impact the phosphorus transportation. In August and October, water samples had been collected in middle stream of Yarlung Zangbo river between Lazi site and Nuxia site. The aquatic concentration of different species of phosphorus had been determined in laboratory, including exchangeable phosphorus, Fe-P, Ca-P, Al-P and Organic phosphorus. Then the spatial distribution is established through the analysis of the concentration of different forms of phosphorus in the Yarlung Zangbo River in the water. Furthermore, by comparing the ratio change of bio-available phosphrous in total phosphorus, the spacial and temporal distribution of bioavailable phosphorus in Yarlung Zangbo river was also established. According to the characteristics of suspended particulars in Yarlung Zangbo river, the relationship between the suspended particular size and species of phosphorus was established though statistical analysis. Based on clustering analysis, the main factors which impact the phosphorus transportation in Yarlung Zangbo river had discussed.
