Gas dissolution process is a common phenomenon in nature and industry problems. The simulation of the gas dissolution process is challenging because the complex mechanisms in the process, including the mass transfer between gas and liquid, the phase change between the vapor and liquid. Traditional multicomponent and multiphase (MCMP) Lattice Boltzmann method have some shortages which limit its application, such as low density ratio and viscosity ratio, large spurious velocity. A modified MCMP pseudo-potential lattice Boltzmann model is proposed in this paper which can be used to simulate different viscosity ratio cases. The Laplace law is used to validate this model, and the influence of different parameters which can used to adjust the pressure is analyzed. Furthermore, the gas dissolution process under different pressure is simulated, and the density field of different component, gas solubility, and the mass distribution of gas is investigated.
