Aiming at the difficult problem of energy dissipation in spillway in narrow channel with large intersection Angle, the flow patterns of several kinds of spillway are compared based on numerical simulation. In order to stretch the water flow horizontally and longitudinally and increase the energy dissipation rate of the water flow in the air, the optimized shape of the structure is that both sides of the wall expand outwards, and the cantilever adopts oblique cutting type. At the same time, in order to avoid the impact of a small flow on the right wall rushing to the river bank, a rhomboid Angle is set up in the right end of the tiller wall. The numerical results show that the water tongue is fully stretched in the air and the contact area with the air is increased. At the same time, due to the existence of affix Angle, the water flow direction is changed and the air collision of water flow is realized. The water tongue expands along the direction of the downstream river, which reduces the width of water-inlet. Downstream river shore velocity is not large, which achieves the smooth flow of convergence. The research in this paper can provide the basis for the optimization of the shape of the cantilever.
