Pakistan is one of the major countries with fast growing neonatal rate. The number of deaths during the neonatal period was much higher during last two decades compare to present. This has been attained due to the active engagement of medical, para medical staff with local population to enhance the community awareness. Administratively the Pakistan is divided into five provinces. The health care is the provincial subject and here we focused mainly Punjab and especially Faisalabad. The neonatal survival rate is much better in Faisalabad teaching hospitals compare to the desert areas of Pakistan. This is due to better health care facilities and presence of medical staff. Most of the medical staff prefer to stay in the cities where they get better daily life facilities. To conclude that Pakistan has diverse geological distribution and hence varies in health care facilities. The health care centres and staff is easily accessible in cities compare to remote areas. Moreover, the government should more focus for the betterment of heath care facilities.
