Frontoplasty - Aesthetic Bone-Surgery Procedure

Frontoplaaty - high effective procedure for upper face shape correction. We use coronary approach. Surgical maneuver can be performed in two ways: grinding or anterior wall osteotomy and intrusion. Indication for grinding are thick bone of anterior wall and minimal excess of frontal sinus protrusion. In more difficult cases we perform osteotomy.
We preformed 48 operation for aesthetic reasons. More than in half part that ware transgender (MtF) patients. Almost in all cases frontoplasty was performed simultaneously with another facial aesthetic surgery.
We had never seen serious complication after this operation with long-term negative consequences.
Frontopasty is not simple or minimal invasive surgery. But result of this operation cover this disadvantages. And for this moment we have not alternative procedure for forehead contour correction.
