The development of nanotechnology, the utilization of nanomaterials less than 100 nanometers in dimension in industrial applications, has grown exponentially over the past twenty years. Nanotechnology has been developed in almost every industry and comprises a significant source of economic development and employes in Israel. Recent epidemiological literature over the past decade has evaluated the impact of exposure to nanomaterials on morbidity and mortality.
