The project of giving back to the community combines the sense of responsibility towards the local weakening community, using the principles of mentoring and positive psychology. I am not weak if I can help others. The poster presents a project of recycling and giving back to the community, which was planned and carried out by the stuff (home parents) and the of Beit Mazor in Arad. The project is based on the principles of mentoring; thus, seeing the adult as a significant and as a leading figure that constitutes an example and positive psychology, whereby the giving to others represents strength and efficacy. The project started with the initiative of the children of Beit Mazor, aged 9-17, who collected empty plastic bottles, which they transferred to the recycling unit for a deposit fee. Later, the children and the stuff gathered and made a decision to donate the funds to an association in the community, to a two and three-years-old daycare center for the welfare families in the Arad community. They contacted the director of the place who defined their needs to them; They organized a festive event for Beit Mazor children, in which they delivered the gift to the daycare team. The event was a success. A significant bond created between them immediately. Beit Mazor children stayed for several hours, even after the event was finished. Since then, the relationship has continued stronger. Beit Mazor girls volunteer there weekly and the father of the House recruited the help of a therapeutic gardener from our acquaintances to help in cultivating the daycare garden. The poster will feature the project sequence in words and pictures, along with its theoretical rationale, upon which to its light, Beit Mazor is conducting its way, leading the children to gain the impressive achievement.
