The wellbeing of children, adolescents and young adults is in peril – no matter where in the world they live. The course of young people´s lives is influenced by poverty, family and peer violence, educational equality and cohesion, as well as the absence of choices for a self-determined life agenda. Throughout the world, youths have similar problems and needs however, not every country offers comparable opportunities and possibilities for receiving effective support from a variety of public and private systems. These systems are established through the unique historical precedents and developments in each individual country to include the wealth of societies and concepts of a social state, definitions of childhood, youth and family, and contemporary legislation and social policy.

In our international student panel, we will discuss visions of help systems without borders. We will focus on the problems of children, youth and young adults and develop innovative ideas for effective help, addressing the questions: How would these organizations be conceptualized? How would care givers work? How would care givers be suitably qualified for such organizations?
