The Situation of Care Leavers in Germany

In the first part of this session relevant study results on Care Leavers in Germany will be presented. In a summary, conditions of successful transitions of Care Leavers can be pointed out. In the second part, the situation of Care Leavers is examined in relation to homelessness. Here reference is made to interview material from a recent study by FICE Germany. Finally, the third part of the session introduces discussion and practice models from different European countries.
