We intend to make visible the limitations of comprehensive access to Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights for children affected by cancer who have migrated from their hometowns to Buenos Aires, not counting in those territories with advanced health resources for treatment. Specifically the target population at this early stage is children and adolescents with cancer as a result of spraying glyphosate in the province of Entre Rios.
Many of these patients must spend years for recovery, during which must be placed in hospital settings accompanied by their parents or a responsible adult. The situation becomes more complex when these victims of agro-toxic are denied access to other rights depend not only on health but also chart the availability of resources and institutional support.
With respect to responsible adults leave their jobs to take care of the accompaniment, usually more women than men who perform this task, resulting in total detriment of the economic capacity of the family group and a new configuration vulnerable conditions coupled with the very of health affected.
Evaluation: It is an early stage project for the time of submission of the summary has not evaluation, but when Congress occur if we could present some preliminary results.
Methodology: This proposal is based on a methodology human rights perspective, and incorporates the gender perspective, intercultural and environmental in design.
