Virtual Surgical Planning in Maxillofacial Surgery the Pitfalls and the Pearls

Over the past few years, virtual surgical planning (VSP) has evolved into a useful tool for the Maxillofacial surgeon. Virtual planning and computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) may assist in orthognathic , trauma and microsurgery of the Maxillofacial. Despite its increasing popularity, little emphasis has been placed on the flow chart work and learning curve. A retrospective analysis of virtual surgeries (orthognathic, Trauma, microsurgery reconstruction) was done between 2017 to October 2019 at the Galilee Medical Center Nahariya.
